Account Creation
The creation of accounts for teachers and students is obviously an important task, and we want to make it as simple as possible. Depending on the number of accounts you need and your subscription level, there are a number of options.
- Educators using our free version can create other accounts for teachers and students using the Add Users function in the Gaggle interface. Accounts can be created individually, or in a mass import using a CSV format.
- Educators on our subscription service are certainly welcome to create their own accounts using the interface, but also can elect to have Gaggle create the initial accounts.
- Smaller schools and districts can provide a CSV file with account information to their Gaggle account rep to be imported manually, generally within 2 business days.
- For medium to large districts, our data integration allows you to provide an export from your student management system with the information we need to create the accounts. In most cases, this can be automated to take care of adding new students, moving users between schools, and deleting students who have left the district.
- An advanced data integration option can also automatically create a user group for every class, so teachers can immediately integrate our tools like Homework Drop Boxes with their individual classes.
